Strip-Brite 227R

Heavy duty immersion paint stripper for alloy wheel repair

Description

An updated version of our workhorse Strip-Brite 227, Strip-Brite 227-R is specially designed to tackle difficult clear-coats and epoxies used on modern alloy wheels.

Strip-Brite 227-R is an organic-acid formulation developed for fast removal of difficult paints, organic coatings, rubber and carbon. Designed for dip-tank applications, Strip-Brite 227-R is a thin liquid with a floating wax seal to prevent evaporation. Baked-on powder epoxy begins to bubble in seconds and paint line hooks with 20 or more coats are spotless in 20 to 30 minutes. A one-hour dip will clean a piston of almost all black carbon deposits. Strip-Brite 227-R is safe to use on most metals, including aluminum.

With proper tank maintenance, this product will last indefinitely - no need for costly waste disposal! A must have for aluminum wheel repair shops, electroplating, and all industrial paint stripping applications.

Directions

  • Use full strength at room temperature in a plastic tank.

  • Rack parts in a basket and submerge in the stripper for sufficient time to loosen the paint or carbon.

  • Remove parts from the tank and rinse with water.

  • When not in use, keep tank lid tightly closed.

Caution

Strip-Brite 227-R contains methylene chloride and acetic acid. Use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid ingestion, prolonged inhalation, and contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Use a face shield and solvent resistant clothing when handling or working with this product. Plexiglas and rubber should be protected from contact with Strip-Brite 227-R. Other surface materials may also be incompatible with this stripper; test a small area to ensure proper results.
