Strip-Brite 229 contains Methylene Chloride and Phenol.  Use only in well ventilated areas.  Avoid ingestion, prolonged inhalation, and contact with skin, eyes and clothing.  Use a face shield and solvent resistant clothing when handling or working with this product.  Plexiglas and rubber should be protected from contact with Strip-Brite 229.  Other surface materials may also be incompatible with this stripper; test a small area to ensure proper results.

Strip-Brite 229 should be used full strength at 65 - 85 ˚ F.  Apply a thick and even coat with a non-atomizing spray or brush.  Allow sufficient time for paint to loosen and then agitate with a stiff bristle brush.  Check if paint has been completely removed; if not, apply a second thin coat of Strip-Brite 229.  When stripping is complete, wash with cold or warm water at 50 psi or higher.

Strip-Brite 229 is a phenolic-type paint remover formulated to strip tough coatings from many surfaces, including aluminium.  Strip-Brite 229 is a pH neutral gel that clings to vertical surfaces.  It will not cause hydrogen embrittlement to high strength steel as per MIL-R-81294 test, is non-flammable and formulated with a superior detergent system to allow for easy rinsing.
