MEK is a powerful de-fatting agent.   Avoid skin contact, ingestion, and inhalation of vapour. Use a face shield and solvent resistant clothing when handling or working with this product. Some surface materials may be incompatible with this solvent; test a small area to ensure proper results. Use only in well ventilated areas

MEK should be used full strength at room temperature or below.  Mixing MEK with other solvents is generally not recommended.

Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) is an organic solvent used for cleaning surfaces and equipment in paint stripping and painting operations.  It is a very powerful solvent for cleaning oil or water based soils on many surfaces; howeverit may be incompatible with some plastics and paints.  MEK is highly volatile and flammable.
