Phos-Brite 252 - Iron Phosphating Compound

Phos-Brite 262 - Corrosion Inhibitor

Phos-Brite 262 is a petroleum based coating designed to prevent corrosion of parts during shipment or storage. The coating protects parts by sealing the surface and repelling moisture and air that cause corrosion. The thin protective film will not chip, peel or crack and remains flexible throughout its lifetime. Phos-Brite 262 contains water displacing and fingerprint neutralizing additives for ease of application and improved final appearance.

Phos-Brite 252 is a multi-metal iron phosphating compound designed for blackening of steel in a hot dip tank. This product :

1. Cleans the metal of oil, grease and dirt.
2. Removes oxidation from the metal surface.
3. Conditions the surface for phosphate deposit.
4. Deposits a controlled amount of phosphate on the surface.
5. Protects treated parts from corrosion.
6. Provides a base for paint adhesion or lubricant retention.

Phos-Brite 252 incorporates superior surfactants and activators to produce smooth and uniform phosphate coating ( 50-150 milligrams per square foot ) in a one step process. When properly applied, the phosphate coating will have a black or grey colour on cold or hot rolled steel. This compound does not contain zinc or manganese and is completely non-hazardous and biodegradable.

Formulated for use in hot spray or tunnel washers, Phos-Brite 251 is a multi-metal iron phosphating compound designed to treat steel, aluminum, zinc and some colour metals prior to painting. This product:

Phos-Brite 251 incorporates superior surfactants and activators to produce smooth and uniform phosphate coating on most common metals, including hot rolled steel. When properly applied, the phosphate coating will have a characteristic blue colour on cold rolled steel. On other metals it may be clear, gold or grey. Phos-Brite 251 cleans extremely fast ( 30-60 seconds ), requires no costly additives, and never over-phosphates at proper concentration. Completely non-hazardous and biodegradable.

Formulated for use in hot pressure washers and steamers, Phos-Brite 250E is a multi-metal iron phosphating compound designed to treat steel, aluminum, zinc and some colour metals prior to painting. This product:

Phos-Brite 250E incorporates superior surfactants and activators to produce smooth and uniform phosphate coating on most common metals, including hot rolled steel. When properly applied, the phosphate coating will have a characteristic blue colour on cold rolled steel. On other metals it may be clear, gold or grey. Phos-Brite 250E cleans extremely fast ( 2-3 passes ), never over-phosphates at proper concentration and does not require rinsing when used below 1  %. Completely non-hazardous and biodegradable.
