Description
Strip-Brite 222 is an acidic-type gel paint remover formulated to strip tough coatings from many surfaces, including aluminium. Strip-Brite 222 clings to vertical surfaces and the underside of horizontal surfaces. Rinses off easily at low pressure and forms a visible film during rinsing which aids in stripper removal. Strip-Brite 222 offers versatility, quick stripping speed and multi-layer paint removal.
Directions
Use full strength at 65 - 85 °F.
Apply a thick and even coat with non-atomizing spray or brush.
Allow sufficient time for the paint to loosen and then agitate with a stiff bristle brush.
Check if paint has been completely removed; if not apply a second thin layer of Strip-Brite 222.
When stripping is complete, wash with cold or warm water at 50 psi or higher.
Caution
Strip-Brite 222 contains methylene chloride and acetic acid. Use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid ingestion, prolonged inhalation, and contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Use a face shield and solvent resistant clothing when handling or working with this product. Plexiglas and rubber should be protected from contact with Strip-Brite 222. Other surface materials may also be incompatible with this stripper; test a small area to ensure proper results.
